Portable, Smart Network Capture Device

ALBEDO - NET.Shark

Albedo Telecom's Net.Shark is a portable, intelligent network capture device designed to filter, select, and capture Ethernet traffic on optical or electrical interfaces at speeds up to 1 Gb/s. It is particularly useful for protocol analysis and content analysis. The Net.Shark is capable of capturing packets in full-duplex mode and can be used in both laboratory and field environments. It comes with a kit containing the Net.Shark/Net.Hunter device, a color display, control buttons, and connections for network cables.
The Net.Shark is an FPGA-based device that operates in pass-through mode, allowing traffic to be captured at line speed. Packets are transmitted through two ports, and traffic matching a filter is sent to Wireshark, a network analysis software.
